In a joint investigation with the Houston County Sheriff's Office, Perry Police Department, Warner Robins Police Department and Houston County District Attorney's Office several arrest warrants were executed on Monday, February 22, 2016 and Tuesday, February 23, 2016 across the county.
A total of 71 warrants were issued, 53 arrests were made and we are still actively seeking others. The investigation continues and additional arrests are expected.
This is part of the same investigation that led to search warrants at three locations on Monday, February 8, 2016. Those search warrants were executed at 127 Virginia Dare Drive #A, 149 Hidden Creek Circle and 100 Kinley Ann Court.
Other agencies that participated in the almost 6 month investigation are U.S. Marshals and State Probation and Parole.
Our investigation revealed over 70 people were found to be involved in the selling and buying of Cocaine and several prescription drugs to include, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Xanax. The street value of these drugs ranges between $20 and $30 per pill.
