Officers Discover Two Weapons in School Safety Zones

Possession of a Weapon within School Safety Zone(F)

 School Resource Officer of the Warner Robins Police Department was contacted by administration of Warner Robins High School, 401 South Davis Drive two different occasions on March 5th in regards to students possessing BB guns in their backpacks.  One student is 16 years of age and the other student is 15 years of age.  Each of the incidents were unrelated and the result of a student and teacher“seeing something and saying something.”  Charges will befiled through the Houston County Juvenile Office.  Warner Robins High also sent out a phone message regarding the incident to parents of students attending the school.

Location:  Northside Elementary School, 305 Sullivan Drive, Warner Robins GA 31093


Possession of a Weapon within School Safety Zone(F)

A School Resource Officer of the Warner Robins Police Department was contacted by administration of Northside Elementary School, 305 Sullivan Drive on March 6th in regards to an 8 years of age, first grade student possessingan Airsoft gunThe weapon was still in its original packing.  The incident is the result of a student “seeing something and saying something.”  Charges cannot be filed due to the age of the child.  The child will face administrative punishment through the Houston County School System.
