Arrests Made In Assault Investigation - UPDATED

On January 29, 2014 at 12:48 pm, officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the parking lot of Warner Robins High School, 401 South Davis Drive in reference to a fight. 

Upon officers arrival it was learned that several persons were attacked by a larger group of individuals that began originally as a snowball fight.  The group of approximately thirty began throwing snow at each other but then a few individuals of the group began to jump on a parked vehicle that was on scene.  One of the victims approached the group to talk about damaging the vehicle when he was physically struck.  Several more individuals then joined in on the assault.  Several witnesses came to the aid of the victim and they too were assaulted. 

Three individuals received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault.  During the time of the event, Warner Robins High School was closed due to the weather and there were no sanctioned events at the school. 

The incident was assigned to Detective Justin Clark who has been able to identify some of the combatants and charges will be forthcoming.   A photo of the assault has been released on both Twitter and Facebook and the investigation is still ongoing.

UPDATE – February 5, 2014

Further investigation lead to the arrest of two individuals involved in the assault investigation at 401 South Davis Drive on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

Shymalik Raekwon Mitchell (17 years old, Warner Robins) was arrested on February 5, 2014 and charged with Aggravated Assault.

Terrell Antonio Boyd (17 years old, Warner Robins) was arrested on February 5, 2014 and charged with Battery.

Mitchell and Boyd will be processed at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center and then transported to the Houston County Jail. 

This incident is still an active investigation.  Additional arrests may be pending upon further investigation.

UPDATE – February 7, 2014

A continuing investigation lead to the arrest of three more individuals involved in the assault investigation at 401 South Davis Drive on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

15 year old male juvenile (Warner Robins) was arrested on February 7, 2014 and charged with Aggravated Assault.

14 year old male juvenile (Warner Robins) was arrested on February 7, 2014 and charged with Aggravated Assault.

D’Angelo Montell Roquemore (17 year old, Warner Robins) was arrested on February 7, 2014 and charged with Aggravated Assault.

Black Friday Arrest

On November 23, 2012 at 1:56 A.M. officers responded to a suspicious person inside the Walmart located at 2720 Watson Boulevard.  The male, Torrance Scott Lahey (33 years old), was escorted outside the business.

Officers asked for consent to search Mr. Lahey.  He consented to the search.  While attempting to search Mr. Lahey tried to put his hand in his pocket.  Officers told him not to place his hands in his pockets but Mr. Lahey attempted to do so again and began snatching away from officers.  The officers attempted to secure Mr. Lahey’s hands but he continued to resist.

Mr. Lahey was taken to the ground in an attempt to gain control over him but he would not remove his left arm from underneath his body.  Officers instructed Mr. Lahey to release his arm but he continued to refuse.  An officer delivered a drive stun with his Taser to Mr. Lahey’s lower back in an attempt to get him to release his arm from underneath his body.  Officers were able to get his arm from under his body and secure his hands into handcuffs. 

Mr. Lahey received a small laceration over his right eye from the struggle on the ground.  EMS was called to the scene to check on his injuries but he refused treatment. 

Officers found a credit card in his pocket with another name on it.  Officers contacted the owner of the credit card who informed them that Mr. Lahey was not suppose to have possession of the card.

Mr. Lahey was charged with Obstruction and Theft By Receiving Stolen Property.

Mr. Lahey has previous arrest with the Warner Robins Police Department for:

  • 2009 - Violation of Probation
  • 2009 - Theft By Receiving Stolen Property
  • 2008 - Terroristic Threats and Acts
  • 2008 - Driving with Suspended License
  • 2007 - Driving With Suspended License
  • 2005 - Battery - Family Violence

Anonymous Tip Leads to Arrests in Armed Robbery Incidents

On Friday, June 29, 2012 at 8:05 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 2451 Watson Boulevard, Dollar General, in reference to a robbery.

Preliminary investigation revealed a white male approached a Dollar General employee as she was opening the store, threatened her with a handgun, and demanded money.  He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.  No injuries were reported. 

The suspect is described as white male, 40 years of age, approximately 6’0” in height and 200 pounds, and wearing a white shirt.

UPDATE - July 9, 2012



James Ray Ussery (36 years of age, Centerville, Georgia) was arrested on July 2, 2012 and charged with four counts of Armed Robbery in connection with the following incidents.

  1. June 28, 2012 armed robbery of the Waffle House located at 12021 Watson Boulevard Warner Robins, Georgia.
  2. June 29, 2012 armed robbery of the Dollar General located at 2451 Watson Boulevard Warner Robins, Georgia.
  3. June 23, 2012 armed robbery of a person located at 720 Carl Vinson Parkway (Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery) Warner Robins, Georgia.
  4. June 25, 2012 armed robbery at a Dollar General located at 15 Peach Road, Byron, Georgia
 
Kelli Leigh Proctor (35 years of age, Centerville, Georgia) was also arrested and charged with two counts of Party to the Crime of Armed Robbery in connection with two of the above- mentioned robberies.

1.      June 28, 2012 armed robbery at 12021 Watson Boulevard (Waffle House) Warner Robins, Georgia.
2.      June 25, 2012 armed robbery at 15 Peach Road, Byron, GA

Warner Robins Police Department and Peach County Sheriff’s Department Detectives conducted a joint investigation of the incidents and secured arrest warrants for Ussery and Proctor. 

Members of the United States Marshal South- East Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Mr. Ussery in Effingham County, Georgia without incident.  He was transported to the Houston County Jail.  Ms. Proctor surrendered to Warner Robins Police on Friday, July 6, 2012.  She was transported to the Peach County Jail.    

Investigators were able to establish investigative leads during the course of the investigation due to a submitted tip through the Warner Robins Police Department’s TipSubmit service that helped identify Mr. Ussery as being responsible for the above mentioned robberies.

Arrest Made In Aggravated Assault Incident


On Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 8:24 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 206 Williamsburg Avenue in reference to an assault.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Tracy Smith (34 years of age, Macon), was stabbed several times throughout his body by an unknown person. 

Smith was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment.     


The investigation is on going.  More information will be released as it becomes available.

Update – May 18, 2012

Continued investigations lead to the arrest of Isaac Hood (26 years of age, Fort Valley).  He was charged with Aggravated Battery in connection with the above incident.  Investigators determined he was the one who went to the residence and stabbed Tracy Smith.

Hood was transported to the Houston County jail. Smith is still in the hospital for treatment.

Attempting Kidnapping Arrest

On Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:07 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 1806 Russell Parkway (Master Cleaners) in reference to a male with a handgun. 

Preliminary investigation reveals a white male approached a female employee, threatened her with a handgun, and fled the scene in a vehicle.  The vehicle is described as a dark colored SUV.   

No injuries were reported. 

No other information is available at this time.  More information will be released as it becomes available.

Update – April 3, 2012

William Carpenter (27 years of age, Macon) was arrested in connection with the incident above.  He was charged with Criminal Attempt-Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, & Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.  He was transported to the Houston County Jail. 

Further investigation revealed Carpenter approached the employee and repeatedly demanded her to get in his car.  She refused and he left the scene in a dark colored Toyota 4 Runner.  Carpenter also pointed a gun at her during the incident.
