Location: 100-block Willis Creek Drive
Officers of the Warner
Robins Police Department responded to the 100-block of Willis Creek Drive in
reference to a suspicious person & vehicle.
Before arrival
officers were given a description of a white Grand Marquis with a partial
tag. The suspicious person left
the area in the vehicle before officers arrived.
A continued
investigation determined the vehicle involved in the incident was at a residence
in the 200-block of Self Street.
Officers went to the residence and found Shaviss Sherroid Head (19 years
old, Warner Robins) and the vehicle.
Several stolen items were recovered from the vehicle. The items were reported stolen from
other entering auto incidents where he was apprehended. Head was arrested and charged with
Theft By Receiving Stolen Property.
Further investigation
by the Criminal Investigations Division led to the additional arrest of a
juvenile (14 years old, Warner Robins) charged with 2 counts of Entering Auto
and 2 counts of Theft By Receiving stolen Property.
Head was transported
to the Houston County jail where he later bonded out. The juvenile was taken to the Houston County Juvenile
Division.
This incident is still
under investigation. More arrests
and charges are expected.
