The Warner Robins Police Department was selected for the 2013 Georgia Highway Safety Grant that awards $8,000 to purchase an Intoxilyzer 9000 system.
The Intoxilyzer 5000, manufactured by CMI, Inc., is the only approved instrument in the State of Georgia for analysis of alcohol in breath samples since 1995.
The CMI Intoxilyzer 9000 was selected by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Division of Forensic Sciences to replace the Georgia Model Intoxilyzer 5000.
