On April 15, 2014 at 11:08 P.M.
officers responded to 94 Westcliff Circle in reference to a burglary in
progress.
The victim stated that she heard
people outside her residence attempting to gain entry. The victim went to a separate part of
her residence and heard the subjects come inside. Upon arrival officers observed two males flee from the back
of the residence. A foot pursuit
was initiated and both suspected were placed into custody in the wooded area
behind the residence.
The males (15 & 16 year old)
were searched and various items missing from the victim’s residence were found.
Both juveniles were charged with
Burglary – 1st Degree, Theft By Taking, Cirminal Damage to Property,
Obstruction of an Officer, and Criminal Trespass. Both juveniles have extensive arrest histories.
The juveniles were referred to the
Houston County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Division and were later released to
their parents.
