On May 1, 2014 at 3:15
P.M. officers responded to 301 Orchard Way in reference to shots fired.
Witnesses advised
officers that a group of people were in the nearby park and then heard
gunshots. A description of the
shooter, Damrea Anderson (17 years old, Warner Robins), was given. Officer Christopher Davis was able to
locate him in the area. A witness identified Anderson as the shooter. Officers
found the firearm inside his book bag.
Anderson was arrested and
charged with Possession of a Firearm Under 18 and Reckless Conduct.
Two other males, Deron
Williams (17 years old, Warner Robins) and a 16 year old male, were also
arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm Under 18 and Party to the
Crime of Reckless Conduct.
No injuries were
reported.
Anderson and Williams
were transported to the Houston County jail. The juvenile was referred to the Houston County Sheriff’s
Office Juvenile Division and was later released to his parents.
