Event: Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Road Closures
Date/Time of Event: May 19, 2017/ approximately 6:30AM-11:30AM
Location: Perry Parkway, Houston Lake Road, Watson Boulevard
Officers with the Warner Robins Police Department will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Friday, May 19, 2017 from approximately 6:30AM until approximately 11:30AM.
The route will begin with runners and bicyclists departing from the Houston County Courthouse in Perry at approximately 6:30AM. They will continue northbound onto Houston Lake Road. The participants will be using the far right lane, northbound on Houston Lake Road. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving in the area.
The bicyclists and runners plan to pass the intersection of Houston Lake Road and Feagin Mill Road at approximately 8:45AM, and will continue to Watson Boulevard.
The route continues eastbound on Watson Boulevard, ending at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center at 100 Watson Boulevard at approximately 11:30AM. Again, race participants will be occupying the far right lane, eastbound on Watson Boulevard, and motorists in the area are urged to use caution.
