Incident: Accident with injuries
Date/Time of incident: July10, 2017/ approximately 9:09PM
Location: Intersection of Watson Boulevard and N. Briarcliff Road
At approximately 9:09PM on Monday, July 10, 2017 officers responded to the intersection of Watson Boulevard and N. Briarcliff Road in reference to a motor vehicle collision with injuries.
So far our investigation reveals a 2013 Smart Car driven by 50 year old Pamela Mobley Banks of Fort Valley was rear ended in the right west bound lane of Watson Boulevard at the intersection of N. Briarcliff Road by a 2006 Acura RSX driven by 51 year old Carole Ann Van Nostrand of Warner Robins.
When the Smart Car was struck from behind it rolled forward, jumped the curb, struck a metal support pole and rolled over. Ms. Banks was pronounced decreased at the scene. Ms. Van Nostrand was transported to Houston Medical Center.
