Incident: Fatal Traffic Accident
Date/Time of report: July 28, 2017/ approximately 10:06PM
Location: intersection of Highway 41 and Watson Boulevard
At approximately 10:06PM on Friday, July 28, 2017 officers responded to the intersection of Highway 41 and Watson Boulevard in reference to a traffic accident with injuries involving a motorcycle.
At this time officers believe 34 year old Benjamin Rolph was traveling west on Watson Boulevard on a 2014 Victory Motorcycle when he ran the red traffic signal at the intersection of Hwy 41.
The motorcycle struck a 2014 Lexus ES300 traveling south on Hwy 41 that was being driven by 42 year old Jaegwon Yoon.
34 year old Benjamin Rolph was pronounced deceased at the scene. 42 year old Jaegwon Yoon was transported to The Medical Center of Navicent Health with serious injuries.
