WRPD First Department in State to Join the #PinkPatchProject

The Warner Robins Police Department is pleased to announce that we are the first law enforcement agency in the state to join the #PinkPatchProject. During the month of October officers will be wearing the pink Warner Robins Police patch to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The public can also purchase the pink patches for $10 at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center. All proceeds will be donated to Georgia Cancer Friends, a local charity that specializes in services for those fighting cancer in our area.

The #PinkPatchProject began in Los Angeles, California by the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs’ Association.  This innovative campaign is designed to increase public awareness about breast cancer and raise funds for the fight against the disease.
