Date/Time: July 7, 2018/ approximately 12:59PM
Location: 200 block of Wendan Way
At approximately12:59PM on July 7, 2018 officers responded to a residence on the 200 block of Wendan Way in reference to shots fired with a possible gun shot victim.
While enroute to the call officers were advised that the victim was taken to the Houston Medical Center in a personal vehicle. Houston Medical Center was placed on a brief lockdown, as per protocol when gunshot wound victims arrive in the emergency room. The lockdown was lifted a short time later.
24 year old Javonta Williams suffered a gunshot wound to the face area and was transported to Navicent Health from Houston Medical Center. Officers have identified a suspect in this incident.
