Event: Warner Robins Christmas Parade Road Closures

Location: Watson Boulevard, South Davis Drive, and Houston Road
The Warner Robins Police Department will provide traffic management and route security for the 2018 Warner Robins Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
Parade officials will meet with our department following the Warner Robins football game Friday to make a determination of the viability of the parade based on the predicted weather conditions. We will notify the public via our social media pages and through the Warner Robins PD App.
The parade will start at the McConnell-Talbert stadium at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Davis Drive and conclude between the Houston Health Pavilion (Old Houston Mall) on North Houston Road and Green Street.
To ensure the safety of the route, roads will be closed and detours will be in place.
Starting at 9:30AM Davis Drive and Watson Boulevard to Pleasant Hill Road will be shut down.
Watson Boulevard from Pleasant Hill Road to North Houston Road to Green Street will close at 9:45AM.The parade begins at 10AM.
Detour locations:
There are several medical offices on Houston Road that will remain open during the parade and can be accessed using James Street.
Eastbound traffic on Watson Boulevard will be diverted to Corder Road. Westbound traffic on Watson Boulevard will be rerouted to Commercial Circle and then to North Davis Drive.
In case of an emergency those needing to reach the Houston Medical Center can take Corder Road to Sunset or Russell Parkway to Pleasant Hill to Sunset.
Officers will be stationed along the route to provide assistance. The rear of the Houston Medical Pavilion will be for parade pick up only.

noon.***
