A few people had some car trouble this morning and our officers were there to help.

  • Off-duty Captain Clay stopped to help a motorist that had blown a tire in Perry today. He was on his way in for the day and came across someone in need. Way to go Capt. Clay for responding to the call even off-duty and out of our jurisdiction!

  • Ofc. Tambourakis and Ofc. Miller helped carpool a few children to school this morning when their father had some car trouble. Of course in good fun,  the child asked Ofc. Tambourakis if he could please ride in the back of the patrol car.

Awesome job Ofc. Tambourakis and Ofc. Miller for going above and beyond to help a family have a better morning, and make sure their children made it to school on time!

  • A community member called this morning to thank Ofc. Boardwell for being so kind, compassionate and considerate during her recent visit to city court. She said he was humorous and made the overall atmosphere in the building pleasant. "He's someone I'd want to patrol my neighborhood." -Ms. Angela
