On Sunday, December 16, 2018 at approximately 8:19AM officers responded to the 300 block of Ridgestone Drive in reference to a shots fired call.
When officers arrived they found 37 year old Joel Lamar Graham with at least one gun shot wound. He was transported to The Medical Center Navicent Health where he later died of his injuries. The autopsy revealed he died as a result of two gunshot wounds.
22 year old Tadarius Dykes sustained a possible knife wound to the face area and was treated at the scene. At this time, what occurred prior to the altercation is still under investigation.
This incident is still under investigation. At this time no charges have been filed. Officers are also investigating two residential burglaries that occurred in the area around the same time, possibly involving Joel Lamar Graham.
