Location: Moody Road, Russell Parkway, Carl Vinson Parkway, Watson Boulevard, Pleasant Hill Road, Shirley Drive, Sunset Drive, Sandy Run Road
The Warner Robins Police Department is assisting with traffic control for the large funeral procession for Chief Jimmy Willams. The affected areas in the city of Warner Robins are:
Sandy Run Road around Second Baptist Church
Moody Road from Sandy Run Road to Russell Parkway
Russell Parkway to Carl Vinson Parkway
Carl Vinson Parkway to Watson Boulevard
Watson Boulevard to Pleasant Hill Road
Motorists, please expect delays. At approximately 3PM Pleasant Hill Road from Watson Boulevard to Bay Street will be closed until the graveside service commences. At approximately 3PM Sunset Drive from Pleasant Hill Road to Draper Street will also be closed until the graveside service commences and Shirley Drive to Peachtree Circle will be closed at approximately 3PM until the graveside service commences.
There will be a large funeral procession following the funeral at Second Baptist Church, which will cause major traffic delays on the roadways listed above. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
