Incident: Fatal Traffic Accident Involving Pedestrian
Location: Watson Boulevard at Knodishall Drive
Date/Time: April 2, 2019/ approximately 9:53PM
At approximately 9:53PM on April 2, 2019 officers responded to Watson Boulevard at Knodishall Drive in reference to a Traffic Accident with Injuries Involving a Pedestrian.
At this time, officers believe a 2008 Dodge Charger was traveling East on Watson Boulevard in the left lane approaching Knodishall Drive when it made contact with 51 year old Jessie Ray Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez was crossing the roadway outside of a crosswalk.
After being struck by the Dodge Charger, Mr. Ramirez was struck a second time by a Chevrolet Impala and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, no charges have been filed. This incident is still under investigation by the Warner Robins Police Traffic Unit.
