On Tuesday, October 1,
2013 at approximately 9:00 A.M. officers will be escorting a T-33 jet airplane
that was removed from the front of the Recreation Department down Watson
Boulevard, proceeding to Vietnam Veteran’s Parkway. The escort will begin at South Young Avenue.
All but one eastbound
lane will be closed when the escort approaches traffic. The plane escort will travel west down Watson
Boulevard. Traffic will resume as
normal once the plane escort passes.
There is not an
estimated timeframe for the length of the escort.
Motorists on the road
at this time are asked to use caution and expect some traffic delays.
