Serious Injury Vehicle Collision

On Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:43 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to Moody Road in reference to a vehicle collision.

Preliminary investigation revealed Joe Elam (42 years of age, Warner Robins), operating a 2012 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler, was driving northbound on the sidewalk that runs parallel to Moody Road. One of the front tires of the 4-wheeler collided with a guard rail post causing the vehicle to flip numerous times. Elam was ejected from the vehicle.

Jimmy Lester (31 years of age, Warner Robins), operating a dirt bike, was traveling behind Elam at the time of the collision. He was not injured.

Elam was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is considered in serious condition.  

This collision is still under investigation.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision

On Monday, April 30, 2012 at 4:59 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of Green Street and Northside Drive in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 1990 Toyota Corolla was attempting to turn left onto Northside Drive when a 2001 Ford Focus was traveling west on Green Street.  The two vehicles collided in the intersection

The driver of the Toyota Corolla was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to the Houston Medical Center. 

Conditions of both drivers are currently unavailable.
