Traffic Collision


On Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 4:25 A.M. officers from the Warner Robins Police Department and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Houston Lake Boulevard and Watson Boulevard in reference to a traffic collision.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Warner Robins Police Department patrol vehicle, operated by Officer James Dubry, collided with a Mazda Minivan, operated by a 34-year-old female, at the intersection.

Both drivers were taken to the Houston Medical Center for treatment. 

The collision is being investigated by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.  Any additional information will be released through their agency.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision


On Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:10 A.M. officers responded to the intersection of Leverette Road and South Houston Lake Road in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Corolla, operated by Mary Aldredge (25 years old, Warner Robins), was attempting to turn left from southbound South Houston Lake Road when it collided with a Toyota Rav4, operated by Nancy Smith (59 year old, Warner Robins), traveling northbound on South Houston Lake Road.

Both drivers were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for their injuries.  Both are listed in serious condition.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision Investigation

On Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:12 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Corder Road in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed Donald Wood (62 years of age, Warner Robins), operating a Buick Century, was traveling westbound on Watson Boulevard and attempted to turned left at the same time Willie Farrell Jr (71 years of age, Warner Robins), operating a Chevy Silverado, was traveling eastbound on Watson Boulevard.  The two vehicles collided and Mr. Farrell was ejected from the vehicle. 

Both drivers were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  Mr. Farrell is listed in critical condition.  Mr. Wood is listed in serious condition.

Traffic Fatality Investigation

On Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7:57 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of Russell Parkway and Booth Road in reference to a traffic accident with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 1997 Ford Taurus, operated by Michael Sutton (44 years of age, Perry), was traveling westbound on Russell Parkway when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. 

Sutton was transported to the Houston Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by medical staff.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision Investigation

On Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 9:39 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of Wellborn Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed Michael Holland (42 years of age, Perry), operating a 1992 Ford pickup truck, was traveling eastbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.

He was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is considered in serious condition.
 
This collision is still under investigation.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision

On Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 211 Russell Parkway in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a female was pushing a broken down Volkswagen Jetta out of the roadway. The car then rolled backwards down a hill, knocked her over, and landed on top of her.
 
She was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she is considered in serious condition.
 
This collision is still under investigation.

Serious Injury Traffic Collision

On Friday, May 4, 2012 at 8:51 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of North Davis Drive and Young Avenue in reference to a traffic collision with injuries.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed a Honda Odyssey was traveling southbound on North Davis Drive at the same time two pedestrians were walking westbound across North Davis Drive. The vehicle and the two pedestrians collided at the intersection.

The two pedestrians were taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where they are considered in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.
