On May 29, 2014 at 7:22 P.M.
officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 211 Utah Avenue in
reference to shots fired.
Preliminary investigation revealed
a male, Marcus Hopkins (34 years old, Warner Robins), was shot in the front
yard of the residence by another male.
Hopkins was transported to a Macon
hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
Further investigation revealed
that Jade Danielly (22 years old, Macon) drove a car to 211 Utah Avenue and
shot Hopkins. Officers observed the car in the area and followed the car to
Tanglewood Apartments (1005 Elberta Road) where Danielly was arrested.
Danielly was transported to the
Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center were he was charged with Murder,
Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He will be transported to the
Houston County jail.
This incident is still an active
investigation.
