One Dead After Shooting on Third Street
At approximately 12:48AM on March 9, 2017 officers responded to the front yard of a residence on the 500 block of S. Third Street in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.
43 year old Edward McKellar suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased.
The person responsible of the shooting has been identified and is cooperating with officers at this time. The events leading up to the incident are still under investigation.
