Incident: Traffic Accident Involving Bicyclist
Location: Intersection of Houston Road and Green Street
Date/Time: November 13, 2018 / approximately 3:26PM
At approximately 3:26PM officers responded to the intersection of Houston Road and Green Street in reference to a traffic accident involving a bicyclist.
All traffic was stopped by a red traffic signal at the intersection except for traffic turning left onto Green Street, which had the green turn signal.
A 14 year old male on a bicycle crossed the street traveling westbound into the path of a 2011 Toyota Corolla traveling north on Houston Road. The vehicle was turning left onto green street and made contact with the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was transported to The Medical Center Navicent Health in serious condition.
Traffic in the area was blocked for about an hour. No charges are pending at this time.
This incident is being investigated by the Warner Robins Police Traffic Unit.

Incident: Armed Robbery
Location: Dollar General 640 Dunbar Road
Date/Time: November 13, 2018 / approximately 6:55PM
At approximately 6:55PM officers responded to the Dollar General at 640 Dunbar Road in reference to an Armed Robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, dressed in all black and covering his face. Armed with a handgun, he took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store.
During the incident at least two shots were fired. No one was injured.

Incident: Homicide
Location: 600 block of Maplewood Drive
Date/Time: November 13, 2018 / approximately 7:38PM
At approximately 7:38PM officers responded to a residence on the 600 block of Maplewood Drive in reference to multiple shots fired with one victim.
When officers arrived they found 29 year old Natasha Alexandra Reyes deceased with multiple gun shot wounds inside the residence.
The suspect, 38 year old Rodney Wayne Helms was apprehended at the EZ Food Mart located at 516 Feagin Mill Road a short time later. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Murder. Additional charges are possible.
At this time, officers believe they knew each other prior to the incident.

At approximately 11:30PM on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 officers responded to the Starship store at 2099 Watson Boulevard in reference to an Armed Robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 ft. tall and slender build. He was dressed in dark clothing and his face was covered. He was armed with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. No one was injured, no shots were fired.
This incident is still under investigation.
