From 6AM (11/19) to 6AM (11/20) our officers answered 

221 calls 

(11/19) 6AM-6PM 10 officers and 3 supervisors were on duty.

(11/19) 6PM- (11/20) 6AM  7 officers and 3 supervisors were on duty.

Incident: WRPD Officer Arrested  

Location:  200 block of Engracia Drive 

Date/Time: November 20, 2018/ approximately 1:26AM

At approximately 1:26AM on November 20, 2018  a woman arrived at Houston Medical Center with visible injuries. This incident was originally reported to our agency, and in turn was turned over to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office for investigation. Officer Andrew Hernandez was arrested by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the incident. 

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this incident. 

Officer Hernandez was placed on Administrative Leave pending the investigation with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office as well as an Internal Investigation with our agency. 

He has been an employee with the Warner Robins Police Department for three years, and an officer since March of this year. 

Our department takes allegations of this nature seriously and these actions will not be tolerated by our agency. 

Updates will be released once the investigation is complete.
