The Houston County EMA Director, Chief James Williams, along with Mayor Randy Toms of the City of Warner Robins has declared a State of Emergency for the City.  Chief James Williams along with Warner Robins Public Works will assess damage to property and beginning Monday, April 4, 2016 a State of Georgia resource available due to the declaration of emergency, V.O.A.D. (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters) will amass at the 911 Center to assist in clearing debris throughout the City.  The group meet at the 911 Center located at 202 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins GA for assignment and instruction.

The City of Warner Robins Police encourages citizens to use caution around downed trees and lines.  Citizens need to be wary of any price gouging and insurance scams and to report them immediately to their local law enforcement.  Damage from storms should be photographed and reported to their respective insurance companies.  We encourage safe and patient driving as we all continue to recover from this storm.
