The
Selective Targeting Operational Police Unit (S.T.O.P.) is a pro-active
enforcement group of officers that is used to target problem areas.
Techniques used to identify the problems are foot patrols, bike patrols,
aggressive traffic enforcement, citizen contacts, and other means of law enforcement intelligence.
S.T.O.P. officers respond to complaints from the community and work the investigations until the complaint is closed or an arrest is made.
The unit also utilizes the Warner Robins Police Department Canine Division.
