Do You Know Your Class CP & D?

It's a milestone in every teenager's life - getting their first driver's license.  Do you know the restrictions that come along with a Class CP and a Class D license?

Here's a break down:

Class CP

Class CP drivers must have at least a 21 year old valid license drive in the front seat of the vehicle when driving.

This permit is valid for 24 months

Class D
This is a provisional driver's license for Class C drivers

May not operate a vehicle between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 A.M. until the driver obtains a Class C license.

First six (6) months -  No persons not family members for the first six months.

Second six (6) months - only ONE non-family member under 21 years old can be a passenger inside the vehicle

After one year - no more than THREE non-family members under 21 years old can be passengers in the vehicle
