Northside Elementary School ADVANCE Graduation


Approximately 60 Northside Elementary School students graduated from the ADVANCE program on January 11th.

ADVANCE (Avoiding Drugs Violence and Negative Choices Early) is a program taught to all fifth grade students in the Houston County School system.  The goal is to educate the students of the dangers of drugs, violence, and gangs.  Another goal is to articulate the importance of making good decisions.



The program is taught by officers of the Warner Robins Police Department School Liaison Unit.  The unit consist of six officers who are assigned to the Houston County School system.  All officers are sworn police officers with a minimum of two years experience with the Warner Robins Police Department.
