On Thursday, June 27,
2013 at 5:29 P.M. officers responded to 125 Galaxy Avenue to assist EMS with a
patient. While en route EMS
personnel advised that shots were fired from the residence.
Upon arrival a male began
shooting at the officers. The
Special Weapons and Tactics team was activated and responded to the scene. The male came out of the residence and
was taken into custody without incident.
No injuries were
reported.
The male was taken to the
Houston Medical Center for evaluation.
This investigation is
ongoing. No other details will be
released at this time.

Daniels Curles, Jr (27 years of age, Bonaire) was charged with

Criminal Damage to Property (2 counts)

Criminal Interference With Government Property (2

Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a
Crime
|
|
Criminal Trespass/Damage
|

in connection with this
incident.
He is being transported
to the Houston County Jail.
This incident remains
under investigation.
