Every year during National Police Week we take the time to honor those law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. This year the event was hosted by Southside Baptist Church.
In 2013 - 7 law enforcement officers and 3 active duty military members died.
Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig offered some great and inspiring words during the vigil.
