Officers responded to a call at 1005 Elberta
Road on July 27th around 10PM in reference to shots fired. Upon
arrival they were advised that a black male wearing a black shirt ran up behind
two men and shot them.
32 year old Rufus Lee Griffin (Warner Robins) told
officers he was walking back to the apartment complex when he heard gun shots. Griffin
sustained a gunshot wound to the lower leg.
43 year old Marcus Craig Moore (Warner Robins)
was with Griffin. Moore sustained a gunshot wound to the upper part of his leg.
Griffin was transported to the Houston Medical
Center and later moved to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Moore was transported to the Medical Center of
Central Georgia.
The Warner Robins Police Department Criminal
Investigations Division is investigating this incident. Anyone with information about this incident
