Incident: Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Location: Intersection of Russell Pkwy and S. Davis Drive
Officers responded to the intersection of Russell Parkway and South Davis Drive at 6:30PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 in reference to a motor vehicle collision with injuries.
A 1998 Susuki, Savage 650 motorcycle, driven by 28 year old Jacob Aaron Sheriff of Montezuma, was traveling east on Russell Parkway when it was struck by a 2014 Nissan Versa traveling west on Russell Parkway in the left turn lane. The Versa was operated by 20 year old Bri-Aunee L. McCroy of Robins Air Force base.
Sheriff was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This incident is still being investigated.
