You are invited to the 9/11 Day of Service Opening Ceremony at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 8:30 in the morning. 

This event is sponsored by the Warner Robins Women’s Club and the Houston County GOP Outreach Committee. Each year these groups get together to thank first responders in Warner Robins. This year they’ve extended their event to all first responders in Houston County. 

“We want them to know that we honor them and we want to show our gratitude for the services they provide to our community.” says Vivian Childs, Houston County GOP. 

State, County and City leaders will be in attendance. All first responders and members of the community are welcome to attend.

At 8:46 AM on September 11, 2001 American Airlines Flight 11 struck the north tower of the World Trade Center, just seventeen minutes later United Airlines Flight 175 hit the south tower. 

2,753 people were killed when the hijacked planes were intentionally crashed into the World Trade Center. 343 were New York City firefighters, 23 were New York City police officers and 37 were officers at the Port Authority. Please join us as we remember those brave men and women.
