UPDATE: Detectives are still investigating this case. We are releasing the surveillance footage from the LuLu Food Mart at the time of the crime. At approximately 10:19PM on September 10, 2015 officers responded to the LuLu Food Mart on Elberta Road in reference to a Robbery and Shots Fired.
Upon arrival officers found the store clerk, 56 year old Govinder Sinch Kaura of Warner Robins had been shot. Officers attempted life saving measures until the EMS arrived, but Mr. Kaura was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were several witnesses in the store at the time of the incident that were able to give a description of the suspect. The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’11” with a slender build.
Officers were able to retrieve surveillance footage for the store, and I have included a picture of the suspect in the press release.
