UPDATE: Officers arrested 37 year old Robert William Lathrop of Warner Robins in connection with the Assault on Wellston Trail on September 13, 2015.
Lathrop turned himself in at our Law Enforcement Center at approximately 7:30PM on September 15, 2015.
Lathrop will be charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Rape, Simple Battery and Cruelty to Children.
No other problems have been reported on the Wellston Trail, however we encourage our residents to stay vigilant and use the buddy system while running, walking or visiting anywhere.
