Release date: October 14, 2015

Event: Whistles for Walkers Program

Date/Time: October 16, 2015/ 9AM-10:30AM

Location: Dry Lake Park, Kimberly Road

The Warner Robins Police Department will kick off it’s ‘Whistles for Walkers’ program this Friday, October 16th at 9AM at Dry Lake Park.

Officers will be handing out free whistles for those walking the trails at the park. This is a program that has been in the works for a while, and we’re proud to finally be able to kick it off Friday morning.

We encourage the public to stay vigilant when walking or running, use the buddy system and always tell a family member or close friend where you will be going if you’re going alone.
