Officers arrested 38 year old Artis Christian Jones and charged him with Murder and Possession of a Firearm By a Convicted Felon.
Jones shot and killed 52 year old D'Andre Nepoleon Willis at approximated 4:16AM inside a hotel room at the Executive Inn at 2079 Watson Boulevard. Willis was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased. He suffered three gunshot wounds.
At this time officers believe a previous fight between the two men led to the shooting.
