Water Main Break Causes Multiple Wrecks

A Houston County water main broke around 6:30AM Friday causing water to gush across South Houston Lake Road between Tucker Place and Feagin Mill RoadThe water on the roadway caused several cars to hydroplane, and hit the guardrail on or near the bridge on South Houston Lake Road. 

There were a total of four traffic accidents involving five vehicles. There were three single vehicle accidents, and an additional wreck involving two vehicles. One vehicle in the two car accident overturned. 


Officers form the Warner Robins Police Department and deputies from the Houston County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. One person was transported to the Houston Medical Center with minor injuries. 

The roadway has reopened to traffic.
