4 Arrested in Attempted Armed Robbery

Incident: Attempted Armed Robbery/Burglary

Date/Time: October 12, 2016/approximately 11:06PM

Location: 200 block of Cornell Drive


On Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at approximately 11:06PM officers responded to the 200 block of Cornell Drive in reference to an attempted home invasion. 

Officers located a gold Cadillac in the area that matched the description given. The four occupants were arrested. During that traffic stop a police canine alerted to a weapon in the vehicle.  Officers located a shotgun in the trunk and a handgun inside the vehicle that was later confirmed stolen  from Bibb County. 

19 year old Taylor Turner was arrested and charged with:
-Criminal Attempt Burglary
-Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery
-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
-False Statements
-Driving with Suspended License

22 year old Andrez Vasquez was arrested and charged with:
-Criminal Attempt Burglary
-Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery
-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
-Open Container Violation

32 year old James Owens III was arrested and charged with:
-Criminal Attempt Burglary
-Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery
-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
-Open Container Violation
26 year old William Eubanks was arrested and charged with:
-Criminal Attempt Burglary 
-Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery
-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
-Open Container Violation

At this time officers are still investigating whether those arrested are connected to several other armed robberies in the area.
