Incident: Pedestrian Fatality
Date/Time of incident: December 21, 2016/ approximately 10:20PM
At approximately 10:20PM on December 21, 2016 officers responded to the intersection of Knodishall Drive and Watson Boulevard in reference to a traffic accident involving a pedestrian.
So far our investigation reveals 50 year old Sherry Lynn Holt of Warner Robins was struck by a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 27 year old Chasity Evone Spires of Byron.
The Caravan was traveling West on Watson Blvd., in the right lane at Knodishall Drive. The pedestrian was laying in the roadway on the westbound side when she was struck by the Caravan. The area of this collision is not an area with street lights and Ms. Holt was wearing dark clothing.
Ms. Holt was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time no charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing by the Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Unit.
