On Wednesday, March 15, 2017at approximately 8:30AM central time a detective from the Warner Robins Police Department, with the help of the San Antonio Police Department, arrested 59 year old Mary Jane Stewart in San Antonio, Texas in connection to the 1975 murder of Cheryl White.
Stewart is charged with Felony Murder and is waiting on extradition back to Warner Robins.
At approximately 1:11AM on November 12, 1975 officers responded to the Parkway Apartments at 122 Crestview Drive. When officers arrived they found16 year old Cheryl White deceased from multiple stab wounds. Cheryl would be 57 years old.
Mary Jane Stewart was 18 years old at the time of the murder. They both knew each other.
