WRPD Announces Police Week Events 2017

The Warner Robins Police Department has several events planned for Police Week 2017. #PaintTheTownBlue all week long. 

Saturday, May 13, 2017   
Back the Blue Glow Run 
8PM Opening Ceremony
9PM Race begins
Be advised that at 9PM the east bound lanes on Watson Blvd from Davis Drive to Hwy 247 will be closed. Armed Forces Blvd to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd will be closed and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Davis Dr. will be closed during the race. 

Monday, May 15, 2017 
Fallen Officers Candlelight Vigil 7PM at Southside Baptist Church. This event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend. 

Tuesday, May 16, 2017
Law Enforcement Bowling Tournament 10AM at Gold Cup Bowling Center
LEO Spouses Night Peer Support Team Presentation 6PM at Southside Baptist Church (only open to LEO families)

Wednesday, May 17, 2017
Coffee with a Cop from 8AM-10AM at Greek Village Restaurant on Watson Boulevard
Law Enforcement Bass Fishing Tournament from safelight-3PM at Lake Sinclair

Thursday, May 18, 2017
#PrayForPolice noon at Warner Robins Police Law Enforcement Center.This event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend. 

Friday, May 19, 2017
Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics begins at 6:30AM at the Houston County Courthouse. Route will travel north on Houston Lake Road then east on Watson Boulevard ending at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center. 

BBQ for Blue 11:30AM-1:30PM Law Enforcement Appreciation lunch at the Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home
