Location: Subway, 600 Russell Parkway
At approximately 9:06AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 officers responded to Subway at 600 Russell Parkway in reference to an Armed Robbery.
The suspect entered the restaurant, brandished a handgun and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. No one was injured.
A short time later officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody.
19 year old Jeremiah Rashawn Thornton was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, possession of less than one ounce of Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm during a Felony.
