UPDATE: 24 year old Daniel Maurice Thomas of Warner Robins was arrested at approximately 10:09PM on Monday, December 11, 2017 at a residence on the 700 block of Hidden Creek Circle for the killing of 55 year old Elliot Mizell. Detectives with the Warner Robins Police Department as well as the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force are responsible for taking Thomas into custody.
Mizell sustained a fatal, single gunshot wound. Thomas’ charges include: Felony Burglary, Felony Murder, and Felony Aggravated Assault. More charges may be possible.
Daniel Maurice Thomas and Elliot Mizell were acquaintances. This incident is still under investigation.
UPDATE (12/10/17) Officers are investigating a Homicide at a residence on Villa North Court. The victim was identified as 55 year old Elliot Mizell. To protect the integrity of our ongoing investigation additional details will not be released at this time.

At this time very limited details are available. The investigation is ongoing and our agency will release additional details when it becomes available. The identity of the victim is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
