Arrest Made in Early Morning Shooting

Dominic Antoine Haslem, 31 years of age, from Warner Robins was charged with Aggravated Battery, Discharging a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm during a Commission of a Crime in relation to the March 4, 2018 Aggravated Assault incident at 10136 N. Hwy 247.  Mr. Haslem was processed at the Warner Robins Police Department and transported to the Houston County Detention Center.  Detective Paul Peck is in charge of the continuing investigation.  Anyone with further information is encouraged to call Detective Peck at the listed number or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME. 





Aggravated Assault

Officers of the Warner Robins Police Department were dispatched to Flash Foods, 10136 N. Hwy 247 in reference to a male who sustained a gunshot wound.  The victim, 32 year old Benjamin Jackson of Macon, was shot in the arm during a physical altercation in the parking lot of the store.  The victim was transported to Navicent Hospital in Macon, GA.  Officers were advised Mr. Jackson stopped to get gas when he was approached by three males occupying a green hatchback type vehicle.  The males, whom Mr. Jackson was familiar with, began fighting with him.  One of the males fired a shot striking Mr. Jackson in the arm.  The men fled west towards Elberta Road.  Detective Paul Peck is heading the investigation and can be reached at (478) 302-5380.  Anyone with further information is encouraged to call Detective Peck at the listed number or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
