Incident: Traffic Accident Involving Pedestrian
Date/Time: April 18, 2018/ approximately 8AM
Location: Intersection of Featherstone Drive and Stoneridge Drive
At approximately 8AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 officers responded to the intersection of Featherstone Drive and Stoneridge Drive in reference to a child that was struck by a vehicle.
At this time our investigation reveals that the 6 year old female stepped into oncoming traffic before being struck by a Kia Optima. The child was alert and talking to first responders before being transported to Houston Medical Center. Speed is not considered a factor at this time.
Officers with the Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Unit are investigating the incident.
