Location: McDonald’s 123 Russell Parkway
At approximately 7:07PM on July 6, 2018 officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 123 Russell Parkway in reference to a Terroristic Threats call. While on scene officers learned that the unwanted suspect was, 25 year old Jared Jones, a former employee of the business. When officers tried to detain the man he fought the officers. During the scuffle a Warner Robins officer fell and struck his head.
The officer was transported to Houston Medical Center with minor injuries.
The suspect was not injured and was charged with Felony Obstruction, Possession of Less Than an Ounce of Marijuana and Criminal Trespass. Additional charges are possible.
