Burglary/Theft Arrests

The Warner Robins Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, charged 5 people in connection with eight incidents ranging from October 2013 to March 2014.

Burglary Arrests

On Friday, May 3, 2013 at 4:34 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department were dispatched to 514 North Davis Drive (Pop’s Food Mart) in reference to a burglary in progress.

While en route to the business, officers were advised the male seen exiting the closed store got inside a vehicle with another person and left the area.  Officers were given a description of the car and were able to make contact with it at the intersection of Chris Drive and Ignico Drive.

After a brief struggle the male, identified as James Wesley Morgan (35 years old, Warner Robins), was taken into custody.  The female passenger, identified as Lisa Marie Roberts (32 years old, Warner Robins), was also taken into custody.

James Wesley Morgan was charged with Burglary, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Open Container Violation in Motor Vehicle, Remove/Affixing License Plate With Intent To Conceal, Obstruction of An Officer, Reckless Driving, and Driving While License Expired in connection with this incident.

Lisa Marie Roberts (32 years old, Warner Robins) was charged with Party To The Crime of Burglary in connection with this incident.

Celebrating CrimeStoppers

The 11th Annual CrimeStoppers Community Luncheon was held today to benefit the Macon Regional CrimeStopper program.  

Macon Regional CrimeStoppers is a non-profit agency, which began operations in November 2000.  CrimeStoppers is a partnership between Law Enforcement, the Media, and the Community.  A cash reward is offered to anonymous persons who telephone the CrimeStoppers hot line with information which leads to the arrest of persons responsible for committing crimes in our community.

Homicide Investigation - 2 Arrests Made


On Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 8:05 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 906 Crestwood Terrace in reference to a male with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Keith Moses (38 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot once in the chest while inside the residence. Police are seeking four black male suspects that were seen leaving the residence in a white four door car. 

Moses was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was pronounced deceased at 4:58 A.M. 

The investigation is ongoing.  More information will be released as it becomes available.

Update - August 9, 2012

A continuing investigation lead to two arrests in connection with the homicide incident on August 2, 2012 at 906 Crestwood Terrace.

Information and evidence obtained by the Warner Robins Police Department Criminal Investigations Division led to the arrest of Tyrone Lamark Davis (23 year of age, Warner Robins) and Bobby Jermel Releford (23 years of age, Warner Robins) in connection with the above incident.  Both Davis and Releford are charged with Felony Murder.

Both are being held at the Houston County Jail.  

The United States South Eastern Fugitive Task Force arrested Davis on August 7th and Releford on August 8th.  

The investigation is still ongoing.

Macon Regional CrimeStoppers

Members of the Warner Robins Police Department attended the 6th Annual David Pierce Memorial Community Luncheon for the Macon Regional CrimeStoppers this afternoon.

The luncheon was to celebrate the continued success of the Macon Regional CrimeStoppers program.  Elected officials, members of various law enforcement agencies, and members of the media attended. 



The program has already has some impressive numbers to show so far in 2012:

2011 Officer of the Year

Detective Wright
Detective Mark Wright of the Warner Robins Police Department Criminal Investigations Division has been named the 2011 Officer of the Year.

Detective Wright is a 19-year veteran in the department and a 10- year veteran in Criminal Investigations.  Mark has served in several divisions in the agency and is an asset in preparing the younger generation of detectives.

He lead two of the five Homicide investigations in 2011.  He demonstrated experience, leadership, and patience during his investigations and arrested each individual involved.  His skills were challenged in each investigation but he exceeded in every aspect and prepared the cases for prosecution.

Detective Wright has been an example of an outstanding employee and friend to many in the department for 19-years.  He is truly deserving to be named Officer of the Year.

Congratulations!
