Lieutenant McSwain of the Warner Robins Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) came by the Citizens Police Academy to talk about the different aspects of the division.Currently the Criminal Investigations Division has ten detectives which include three supervisors.
CID is responsible for investigating any unsolved criminal actions. Detectives utilize both traditional investigation methods and the latest technology to solve crimes.
There are approximately one hundred active cases being worked by detectives on any given day.
