The Warner Robins Police Department canine program began in April 1995.
At that time the unit consisted of a single handler and a single purpose
canine (narcotics detection). Today, the Canine unit has three full service canines skilled in patrol, narcotics detection, and tracking.
Ego, Ollie, and Rasty (and their officer counterparts!) received training through Tarheel Canine, Inc. located in Sanford, North Carolina.
